Rediscovered the magnificence of Robert Wyatt’s "A Short Break" yesterday. Lola enjoyed it too, and sang along. Beautiful, soothing, perfect rainy afternoon Sunday music. Soft piano and organ washing backwards and forwards hypnotically, Wyatt’s voice, none of the words more complicated than “ya da da dun da - daa - da”, unsure whether to be happy or depressed. I want more.
