As I type this, there are 2 cans of insects on the desk next to me, with their labels removed. Kinda gives me the creeps.
Yesterday we opened one for the first time and, despite not being squeamish, I nearly hurled. They’re quite horrible looking (and smelling) - the crickets are like cockroaches. Now I understand why several people haven’t talked to us since Christmas. Still, glad we didn’t send all of them out (but, like, I’d rather they weren’t still here).
