Spent a wonderful weekend in Wales… in touch with nature again, weather conducive to outside-ness again. Except my back and neck are killing me after 2 nights in a tent on sloping ground with a too-thin mat under my sleeping bag and no pillow. Ouch. But… I took lots of pictures and made another life (many many thanks to Guy for the Contrast Mask tip, which has made this the brightest crispest life to date. Unfortunately, even Guy cannot show me how to hold a camera straight).

Ever forgotten your PC password? If so, it probably didn’t have as dramatic an impact as this…

The results of this week’s presidential elections in Mali won’t be known for some time because the one and only person in possession of a rather important password has been in a car accident.

The computer technician involved in the crash has sole access to the PCs carrying the tallied votes. He is recovering in hospital, but no one knows when he’ll be up and about.

Wow! Something else going live! Ed’s robot costume for Kylie is finally complete, and has apparently been going down big in the gutter press. Trying to find pictures of it online, but so far all I can find are a few photos on the BBC news site showing the armbands and dancer costumes that Ed made.
