We were talking wedding talk, and June mentioned that Marks & Spencers are selling pre-mixed Kir Royale at the moment, and have it on special offer at £4 a bottle. Well, talk of things pre-mixed makes me suspicious, and knowing June’s taste in wine I wasn’t exactly hopeful, but Cath said it was good too, so we gave it a go. Euuurgh. Yuk yuk yuk. Gill thought it tasted like Schloer (not how it’s spelt but I don’t know how it is) whereas I found it more like Ribena mixed with slightly flat fizzy water, only sweeter and less blackcurranty. Nope, I think we’ll stick to our original plan of a nice Cava and some proper Cassis. We might buy the pre-mixed Bucks Fizz though, as we won’t be drinking that…. mwahahahaha!

Jeez… ought to get at least one blog in during November!
I just “liberated” a 5p piece out of my computer’s front panel locking-hole, and two 20s and a 10 from the Zip drive (best bloody use of a Zip drive that I’ve heard of so far if you ask me, as a storage space for loose change). Haven’t found anything in the floppy but it’s early days yet. Thank heavens for tweezers. And thank heavens (hmmm) for leedle girls, with a money fixation and a craze for posting things into holes.
