Missed Opportunity

Damn! So many times recently when I’ve taken the dog out for a walk I’ve regretted the fact that I forgot my camera and tripod. This morning I saw a beautiful arrangement of stars, cloud and demi-lune hanging over Crookes. I coulda posted it here and had a “name the constellation” competition. The best I could come up with was “Cubist Phallusy”, but you’ll never understand why because I didn’t have my camera with me. Damn.

In other news: Gill spotted an advert in the Big Issue for Buddhist working holiday’s/retreats. Perfect, as I had been trying to think up a way of “getting away from it all” for some time how - I’d even considered asking Phil about the monastery he stayed out while revising for his exams. I’m now hoping to go to Losang Drapa at the end of February for a week’s meditation and gardening.
