A few people have asked me how I made this "HDR-ish" image on Flickr. The technique is described on my Flickr page. The original images I used (actually a single RAW file, but opened at two difference exposure values) are below. I have not altered the images in any way after opening them (the version on Flickr has a little contrast enhancement and sharpening, and is also at a higher resolution than these versions).
