Sheffield with Lola
In the afternoon we headed East out of town along the Five Weirs Walk. I'd been meaning to take photos along there for ages, in fact I wanted to photograph some tipping spots and scrap heaps for the last issue of FAD but didn't get my act together in time. Neither my energy, camera battery or memory stick held out all the way to Meadowhall, but Lola and I had some fun taking pictures on the way before catching two buses back home, exhausted.
I took Lola into Sheffield for the day - we spent the morning doing the round of the art galleries, saw the wonderful new exhibition at the Millenium Galleries, showcasing every imaginable aspect of flowers in art and design over the centuries, then saw the new stuff at the Graves Gallery (photos of people posed as roadkill, and some funny fake dogs) where we had lunch in the cafe.
