Sheffield Contemporary Art Forum (SCAF) had organised a gallery crawl as part of the month-long "Spectator T" contemporary art event running throughout Sheffield. Mark and I turned up early, and met Marcin and most of the other suspects before too long. The crawl started off at the Site Gallery, then progressed to Arundel Works, BLOC Space and Sylvester Works before ending up at S1 Artspace. Drinks were supposed to be 50p each, but due to low attendance and an excess of drinks remaining at the end of the night, we got quite a few freebies and the usual drunken photography and Mark-inspired MAD banter ensued. We were supposed to move on to The Forum afterwards, but diverted via the kebab shop and by the time we finally made it to Division Street the rest of the art crew seemed to have gone home to their beds. We finished off relatively early, for us, on this night when English pub opening hours were extended, but we had certainly had our fill.
